Sunset at Moelen

Moelen is Norway's largest beach made of rolling stones . It is a part of Vestfoldraet , the largest terminal moraine in Scandinavia . More than a houndred different kinds of rock can be found here , left behind by the melting glaciers . The name Moelen comes from Old Norse "mol" and means stone mound or bank of stones . Moelen is spelt different in Norwegian , our alphabet has three letters that doesn't exist in english . We write Mølen .
